Elizabeth Rasor

Hello and welcome to my website!

My name is Elizabeth Rasor and I am the Behavior Specialist at Sag Harbor School District.  I work with students K - 12 with behavioral challenges in the mainstream and inclusion settings.  I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of New York.  I received my MA in Special Education at Columbia University, Teachers College, from one of the few programs in the country that offered a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis at that time, taught in a model school and conducted educational research.  I have worked in the field of Special Education using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis for over 20 years, have conducted workshops through The Cody Center, and taught graduate level courses in Applied Behavior Analysis at Stonybrook University.

In my role as Behavior Specialist, I consult with teachers, related service providers and administrators to support students with behavioral challenges.  I design Positive Behavior Supports, conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and develop Behavior Intervention Plans.  I work with staff to implement and ensure fidelity to these plans.  I also meet with parents to help support them with issues that arise in the home, and conduct faculty trainings on behavioral principles and crisis intervention.

Please feel free to contact me anytime with questions and concerns.
