Welcome to the
Multi Age Classroom!

Hello and welcome to my webpage! Please feel free to navigate my page to find out what we're learning each week, fun activities and events we have coming up, and targets for our following week ahead.

I'm looking forward to enjoying this winter and holiday season with all of my students and their families! I have plenty of fun things in store for the months ahead.

                                   ABOUT ME:

I have a background in art with my bachelor’s degree in art education and a master’s degree in special education. I’ve spent the past 10 years in various structures of PreK-6th grade special education classrooms. In addition to my classroom work, I've found a great love working closely with students and their families providing ABA therapy in their homes for the past 5 years. This experience in particular has allowed me to bring a unique outlook and sensitivity to the classroom.

I grew up in Shoreham Wading River and enjoyed playing Pierson in field hockey throughout my school career. I currently live in Westhampton with my 3-year-old son and husband. When I’m not playing with or chasing after my son I enjoy running, skiing and spending time with my friends and family. I’ve run 4 half marathons and look forward to adding to my list. I am the youngest of three children and am very close to my family. I love reading and crafting and I am a HUGE fan of the NY Giants!

I feel incredibly honored to continue my career here at Sag Harbor Elementary school as a special education teacher. I'm eager to have a year filled with fun, learning and new adventures. My mission always is to provide our children with a consistent, organized, creative and loving atmosphere to learn in every day.

My time here in this wonderful school and community has been great. I feel so privileged to be able to continue my career here. As always, I encourage you to please pop in and say hello!

Happy Learning,
Lindsay Searles
